Multiple Criteria for SUMIFS

Having trouble creating a formula that will do the following.

$G$2:$G$20000 is the range I want to sum. There are two criteria I want met in order to total these numbers.

$B$2:$B$20000 must equal T5
$C$2:$C$20000 must equal U3 (note U3 is a merged cell across U3 and U4)

Try:

Excel Formula:
=SUMIFS($G$2:$G$20000,$B$2:$B$20000,T5,$C$2:$C$20000,U3)

For merged cells, use the address of the top left cell.
