Hi All,

I have a situation where if a designated cell (c42) looking at a group of cells to see if the word "open" is present in a cell, if so I needs to reference another cell (which is a date) and + 12 days. These group of cells occur in a row a number of times, like the formula below;

=IF(F42="open",D42+12,""),IF(J42="open",H42+12,"")

the first part of the formula works but when I tack the second part on, the "value" response is my answer.

Can anybody help me put these two formulas together so it works as one.

Thanks in advance, Peter

Hi Peter,

You just need to nest it: =IF(F42="open",D42+12,IF(J42="open",H42+12,""))
