multiple percentage calculations

:confused:

I am an excel novice and am stuck trying to create a formula that allows me to calculate percentage of difference between two cells and increases percentage calculated when main variable increases

i have tried following

=if(a2>14500)(b2-b3)*20%:a2>15500(b2-b3)*25%:a2>17500(b2-b3)*30%

I am unable to adjust formula as my ability is not yet at this level
Can u help?
