Multiple Selections from Custom Filter

I'm trying to select up to 4 selections from a filter when the custom filter only gives me 2. I'm trying to display 4 Australian states eg SA, TAS, NT & VIC using the filter function. As far as I know the custom filter allows to me to find only two values equaling my requirement. Is there anyway I can increase my selection to equal four of the records in this field.

I may be wrong but I think you cannot select more than 2 values with autofilter. I think you need to use the advanced filter.
