I have two tables one for the salary received by the employee every month for past few years including various deductibles, date on which the salary was recieved and an other table about the various investment transaction employee has done using his salary with the investment draw and the amount. Now I need to plot a graph showing the net salary trend and net investment trend month wise and year wise. I was planning to do this using pivot table and pivot chart. I am unable to decide how to go ahead with this. can anyone suggest a way forward?

You can use INSERT Option to make various charts and graphs as required in Excel Itself. No VBA or PT needed.
