Multiple validation ?!

I am formatting a price list for distributors.
Column A will be a Category and Column B will be a Description of a part within this category, with C = Pricing.

Can you create a drop list for items in column A that will then only have the relevant validated descriptions in column B e/g Link the validation of Cell A to Cell B..?:confused:

I have no idea in terms of VBA so this as a solution would not help ..Sorry !:(
I know how to validate data to create a drop list and that it could be done using a filter but this linking is beyond me.. :rolleyes:
Also, I am linking some part codes via VLOOKUP etc.
