multiple Vlookup formula?

can I do a vlookup for an item then within that formula have another vlookup to find a match within that info?

Hi - I guess you're trying to do a multi key lookup - see here for a few alternatives (enone of which happen to use nested vlookups!)

You can translate "old" board liknks like this --

to "new" board links like this --

http://www.mrexcel.com/board2/viewtopic.php?t=21288

Add a 2 to "board", truncate "topic" to "t", and delete everything past the topic #
