Hello,
How do you multiply a column and have the results reappear in the nextcolumn? E3:E3631*1.3 = F3:F3631, is the code I tried.

Excel Facts

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
In cell F3, enter =E3*1.3 then copy the formula down by clicking and dragging the little black box that appears in the bottom right of the cell you are on. If you want the results in column F to never change, then after you use the formula, highlight column F, right click on it and click "copy". Then right click it again and "paste special", choose "Values", and click OK. This will "hardcode" the results in the column and overwrite the formulas.
