Multiply by Specific Percentage based on Amount

What function do I use and how would I enter if I wanted to multiply by a specific percentage based on $ amount in a cell?

For example, if cell is 0-500 multiply by 10%, if cell is 500-1500, multiply by 15%, if cell is 1500-3000 multiply by 20%?

=A1*LOOKUP(A1,{0,501,1501},{1.1,1.15,1.2})
