My Final Examination Microsoft Excel Subject. Help Me Please!!!

union Express has 60 tons of cargo that needs to be shipped from Boston to Dallas.The shipping capacity on each of the routes Union Express planes fly each night is shown in the following table:
Departure /Arrival / Capacity (in tons)
Boston /Baltimore /30
Boston /Pittsburgh /25
Boston /Cincinnati /35
Baltimore /Atlanta /10
Baltimore /Cincinnati /5
Pittsburgh /Atlanta /15
Pittsburgh /Chicago /20
Cincinnati /Chicago /15
Cincinnati /Memphis /5
Atlanta /Memphis /25
Atlanta /Dallas /10
Chicago /Memphis /20
Chicago /Dallas /15
Memphis /Dallas /30
Memphis /Chicago /15

Will Union Express be able to move all 60 tons from Boston to Dallas in one night ???

a) Draw a network flow model for this problem <This Question i can do it>
b) Create a spreadsheet model for the problem and solve it.
c) what is the maximum flow for this network ?
d) write macro for automating solves this problem. You are allowed to design the user interface as you like.

Please Help Me. I understand English about 70%.

I dont know all the formulas but I'm guessing it cant be done as you have 30 tons going into baltimore and only capacity for 15 to leave !!

mine is easier though:
calculate max flow (with solver) from 1 to 5 with given flows (not bidirectional):

1-2=550
1-3=1000
1-4=700
2-5=250
3-2=300
3-5=600
3-4=150
4-5=400

use following diagram to fill out connections:

people will help with some specific coding issues, but wont just answer exam problems for you - all that does is teach you how to get someone else to do it! I appreciate your exam is soon, but surely you have already studied the subject, and have some reference material to check against?

This subject isnt my forte, but I would suggest you start by filling in the diagram, understanding what the restrictions are in each part, and then turning each part into VBA code if thats what you want done. You'll get more assistance if needed for the best way to write the code, but its your job to decide how it needs to be structured and why. Please have a go, then seek assistance with the gaps if you still need it

What i need is a way to correctly structure the table and then using solver to do the max calculation.

unfortunately i attended this class 3 years ago, and i dont have much help for it as my notes are useles and the excels from then are long lost.

I can do it without excel using Dijkstra, but the excel part I havent yet figured out.

I might be missing something, but the way I read it there are only 3 available entries into Dallas with a total of 55 tons......??
I don't know what course your are both doing, but to leave the questions to within 1 day of the required assignment date is a recipe for disaster.

to me solving this in excel is a small part of the exam, so not that much of an disaster...
