Hi Everyone,
I think i must be missing something simple but i keep getting the #value! error in my sums?

as an example

"=AB11+CX11+BA11-CZ11-DA11"
works great when every cell has a number or zero in it but #values! out if one or more cells are empty or return the ""
i cant believe this is supposed to happen? so am i doing something wrong? is there a way to stop it happening?

please help using the above as the example

Thanks

Tony

Hi TonyWatsonHelp,

Try =NUMBERVALUE(AB11)+NUMBERVALUE(CX11)+NUMBERVALUE(BA11)-NUMBERVALUE(CZ11)-NUMBERVALUE(DA11)
