My macro is deleted every morning...

We have a personell program at my company that we use to export a report to Excel. I have created a macro to sift through this enormous report and create an effective little summary. My problem is this: Every time a new excel report is generated, it overwrites the old one. How can I set up the macro so it can be used by Excel, and not be tied to the workbook that gets replaced each morning.

Any advice is appreciated.

(I work with Windows XP and Excel XP if that makes a difference.)

-Merlin.

Not everything I do at work revolves around Excel. Only the fun parts.
You can create an add-in (you'd have to search the forum or web, I've never done this), or put it in your PERSONAL.XLS file. That's all I can think of to do. Hope that helps!
