In cells A1 and B1 i have two different dates. If A1 is 5 days or more less than B1 then i want C1 to display Yes, If A1 Is less than B1-5 then i want it to display no.

Simple formula - =IF(A1<(B1-5),"Yes","No")

But i want cell C1 to be blank if A1 is blank. I was using the formula below but it never worked!

=IF(A1=""," ",IF(A1<(B1-5),yES,IF(A1>(B1-5),No)))

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
Hi:

Do you mean something like this

=IF(A1=""," ",IF(A1<(B1-5),"YES",IF(A1>(B1-5),"No")))
