I have received an excel file. It is asking if I want to update or not. Before clicking on no updates, I can see all the numbers in the spreadsheet as numbers. When I click on no updates, many of the numbers change to NAME? Others who have received this file do not have this problem. Do I need to change a setting in excel. It seems to only happen on this one file.

Select data in PDF. Paste to Microsoft Word. Copy from Word and paste to Excel.

Hi Georgia

Welcome to the Board!

Make sure you have Calculation set to manual (in Tools>Options>Calculation) before you open this file. This should resolve. Please post back if it doesn't.

Best regards

Richard
