Good day all.

I would like to use a named range for a Pivot Chart Start and End Date. This doesn't seem possible right up front. Maybe using VB?

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.

Maybe I don't understand how those fields work in conjunction with the source data. If i set the start date to anything prior to the first data entry the start date will automatically reset back to the date of the first entry.
