I have a bunch of cells selected. How can I create a name for these cells in vba code?

Excel Facts

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.

If you want a name (One name) for all of them then

Selection.Name = "Whatever"

if you need an individual name for each cell in the selection, then you can do a loop

For each Cll in Selection
i = i + 1
Cll.Name = "Something" & i
Next Cll
