I need a macro that will copy data from column C and paste the data sixteen cells across but if the cell is already populated I need it to move seventeen cell and if that is populated over again and so on and so.

Excel Facts

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
Assuming C1 always has data:
Code:
Sub otuhu()
Dim ColNum As Long
ColNum = Range("T1").End(xlToRight).Column + 1
If Range("T1") = "" Then
    Columns("C:C").Copy Columns(20)
ElseIf Range("U1") = "" Then
    Columns("C:C").Copy Columns(21)
Else
    Columns("C:C").Copy Columns(ColNum)
End If
End Sub
worked for me,
