I would like to sum the dollar value of all cells in a range if the date in the corresponding cell of the previous column falls in the month of November. I'm using the mm/dd/yyyy. Any suggestions are much appreciated!

Ok, so I tried:
=SUMPRODUCT('Master List'!F2:F28(MONTH('Master List'!E2:E28)=11))
and got #REF!. Did I do that right?

Try

=SUMPRODUCT('Master List'!F2:F28,--(MONTH('Master List'!E2:E28)=11))
