Hi

I need to be able to insert a line in any given line in the range and the above formulas have to be copied to the new line automatically and at the same time update the formulas in the lines below the new line.

The reason for this is that I have a formula that show the number of the visible lines when you filter for certain categories using the following formula - =SUBTOTAL(2;D$1:D2)*1

However as it is now when a line is inserted there will only be blank cells in that line and the formula below will be incorrect.

I would prefer a VBA solution but I’m also interested in a formula too if at all possible.

Im using Excel 2007
Thanks Martin
