I want to print out the formulas contained in a worksheet. I have selected:

Tools --> Options --> Window Options ~ Formulas

My formulas are long and I want the formulas to be displayed in the word wrap around mode in a narrow column. I have selected the wrap feature under :

Format --> Cells --> Allignment ~ Wrap Text

My formulas are long and the only way to visually see it on the screen is to make the column width gigantic.

Can anyone help me?

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple

- maybe you can make the formula's shorter?
- smaller font? arial 6pt?
- wrap text and change columnwidth

Re: Need Help Displaying an Entire Formula in a narrow colum

There's a workaround using the formula =formulatext(), which is available if you have or can download the MoreFunc add-in.

Let's say your spreadsheet is on Sheet 1, range A1:Z100. On a blank worksheet (say Sheet 2), enter this formula:

=FORMULATEXT(Sheet1!A1)

Copy it down to row 100 and across to column Z.

Then, format the range to wrap cells like you usually do, and set your column widths to whatever size you want.

Here's the link if you want to download MoreFunc:
