I'm not sure what I am doing wrong and I would like some suggestions (or directions to fix this problem:
1. I am running Microsoft Access 2007 SP2
2. I have a form with a subform in it.
3. By default both the form and the subform have navigation buttons and search buttons at the bottom of each form.
Problem: I want to hide (or delete) the navigation and search buttons from the subform only.
When I go into the subform properties and turn off the navigation and search buttons, they disappear - perfect!
This is what I want.
But when I display the subform inside the other form, the navigation and search buttons reappear (even if the subform is saved with the properties off. I have looked at the properties of the form (not subform) and the navigation button and search button properties control the form itself, not the subform. If I turn these off in the properties, the form bar goes away and the subform still has both set of button on it.
Does anyone know how to get rid of the subform navigation and search buttons when it is installed in a form???
Any help is appreciated!
