I have a table which has four columns. I want a code which will search for a value in first column and if found it should "delete shift cell up" only that range (i.e four columns) and not the entire row.

thanks

Excel Facts

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
This would work for column A:

Code:
Sub DeleteAndShift()
    n = Cells(Rows.Count, 1).End(xlUp).Row
    For r = n To 1 Step -1
        If Cells(r, 1) = "Value" Then
            Range(Cells(r, 1), Cells(r, 4)).Delete Shift:=xlUp
        End If
    Next
End Sub
Hope this helps,

Chris.
