Need Help - Sum/Sumif

Hi All,
I am trying to create a database for a wedding party; the list will consists of 4 columns:

B2 C3 D3 E3
Name Number Unit Cost & Total Cost
Joe 2 $10 $20

Please advise how should I calculate these values.....

I know it must be simple, I am a newbie in Excel world

I am trying this formula; but it gives me percentage %

=if((B3=0)," ",C3*(D3))
