I need help to lock a workbook after a certain date and it would need a password to unlock it and use again.
I have a workbook that's has 13 worksheets the first 6 sheets are labeled Monday through Saturday I’ve made a splash screen that opens when the workbook first opens and goes away after 10 seconds, what I'd like to do is set it up where after a certain date like January 1st 2016 the workbook automatically locks and you'll have to use a password or code to get back into it however I would like it if once you enter that password or code that it not only unlocks the workbook but it resets the date for 12 more months say to January 1st 2017 and then it would need a password or code again. Is this possible?
Now I am a novice at Excel and VBA I really don't know much so please any information you could give me if you would make it stupid simple so I can understand I would appreciate it. Thanks
