Hi,
I'm pretty new to excel, so I'm hoping this is an easy question.
I have a drop down list created. What I want to have happen is that when I select one item from a drop down list, the cell to the right of it will become populated with a value. I'm looking into vlookup and index match, but am still confused. If anyone could give me some pointers to help me get started, I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

I think VLOOKUP would suffice for your solution. I had a data validation list set up in cell C1
