Hello anyone and everyone,

I need help with this formula.

Criteria= I have these three telephone numbers below and I want to calculate the # of times called for each but combined to one total. Here's the formula that I used but the return is = #VALUE!

=COUNTIF(D12:D77,"203-744-9206")*("203-948-0749")*("203-948-2647")

What am I doing wrong?

Please help! I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks so much

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
try:
=COUNTIF(D12:D77,"203-744-9206")+COUNTIF(D12:D77,"203-948-0749")+COUNTIF(D12:D77,"203-948-2647")
