Hi everyone, i've been fighting with this for awhile and there has to be an easy way to do it. Im not an expert but know my way around excel.

what i have is a mulitpile page workbook, lets say i have 4 sheets with idenical tables 4 columns each. column A would be "date" b would be "comment" c would be "priority" d would be "action required"

on a fifth sheet i would like to be able to create a table to show the rows of data from only a certain date range i select.

i have given a 4 sheet example but some of my applications require 50, i have tried to run a sort/filter cut and paste macro but it was too big and it froze to pc.

any suggestions

allan19111911,

Welcome to the MrExcel forum.

What version of Excel are you using?

You will generally get much more help (and faster) in this forum if you can post your small samples (sensitive data scrubbed/removed/changed) (what you have and what you expect to achieve) directly in the forum.

To attach screenshots, see below in my Signature block: Post a screen shot with one of these:

sorry for the delay and thanks for the reply, heres kinda what im looking for. Sheet 1 through 3 are the "source data" these sheets will be added to as time goes by. On the forth sheet i would like to be able to pull the rows of data out of the other sheets that match a certain date range. ie create a table of rows between nov 8 and 9 2011. if that is not possible i could do a manual sort if all the data automaticlly got updated in sheet 4. like I said in the first post some of my applications could have over 50 of these sheets with over 20 entries in each table. thanks in advance for taking a look.
