I have ranks or positions that I'd like to calculate and assigned like a scoreboard... i.e.

John has 12 Points
Will has 10 Points
Jason has 10 Points
Jim has 8 Points

This is easy enough to rank as 1, 2, 3, 4. However, I'd like the ranks to show as a true scoreboard would reflecting the tie. John is 1st, Will and Jason are tied for 2nd, and Jim is 4th. 1, 2, 2, 4.

Anyone know of a way to do this either through VBA or maybe a special function of excel?
