dataserie1 =OFFSET(sheet1!$G$1,COUNTA(sheet1!$A:$A)-monthcount,0,monthcount,1)

dataserie2 =OFFSET(sheet1!$O$1,COUNTA(sheet1!$A:$A)-monthcount,0,monthcount,1)

dataserie3 =OFFSET(sheet1!$Y$1,COUNTA(sheet1!$A:$A)-monthcount,0,monthcount,1)

dataserie4 =OFFSET(sheet1!$AG$1,COUNTA(sheet1!$A:$A)-monthcount,0,monthcount,1)

monthcount =IF(COUNT(sheet1!$A:$A)<25,COUNT(sheet1!$A:$A),25)

xvalues =OFFSET(sheet1!$A$1,COUNTA(sheet1!$A:$A)-25,0,25,1)

i am trying to do a dynamic chart whech i am using xvalues it is working fine but when I am trying to use the =test.xls!dataserie1 it gives me an error messege that your formula contains an invalie external data reference to workbook.what can be the error.Regards

This SERIES formula works for me:

=SERIES(,test.xls!xvalues,test.xls!dataserie1,1)

with defined names:

dataserie1 =OFFSET(sheet1!$G$1,COUNTA(sheet1!$A:$A)-monthcount,0,monthcount,1)

monthcount =IF(COUNT(sheet1!$A:$A)<25,COUNT(sheet1!$A:$A),25)

xvalues =OFFSET(sheet1!$A$1,COUNTA(sheet1!$A:$A)-25,0,25,1)

When adding the below the formula the yvalues in my chart itgives me error messege:- the series must contains one value in order to creat chart.any one can help.Regards,

=SERIES(,test.xls!xvalues,test.xls!dataserie1,1)
