Need help

I am working on a spread sheet that requires me to count down the days until a specified date. I have that up and running but i want the day cell to automatically change colour to orange 30 days from specified date and once date has pasted i want it to turn red.

Under Format, Conditional Formatting...

 

[Sal Paradise]

Go to Format -> Conditional Formatting

Change 'Cell Value Is' to 'Formula Is' in the Dropdown

Make the formula:
=A1-TODAY()<=30

Make the format orange.

Click 'Add >>'

Change to 'Formula Is'

Paste:
=TODAY()>A1

Make the format red.
