Above is my Master Database with "countless" columns that I will never be able to use in my Data Model because none of my other tables will ever have all of the same headings.

This is my K-1 database from which I need to make a reconciliation report.

To the Pivot Table above, I need to pull the Date of Last Transaction from the Master Database for the names shown. How do I use that through the use of a Pivot Table measure?

Excel Facts

Create a Pivot Table on a Map
If your data has zip codes, postal codes, or city names, select the data and use Insert, 3D Map. (Found to right of chart icons).
my 2 cents,
merge Master Database with K-1 database by Name in Power Query then try to use it in Pivot Table
but I am not a @Fluff  sorry

Hi @sandy666

I guess I have homework. I'm new to Pivot Tables and have never used Power Query let alone know what it is all about . I already have Pivot Table Data Crunching by Bill Jelen so I'll start there. Any other resources that you can recommend?

I'd start with 'M is for Data Monkey' by Ken Puls and Miguel Escobar - it is a great starter for PowerQuery, and PowerPivot and PowerBI by Rob Collie and Avichal Singh. I've learnt all I know about Powerquery and Powerpivot from those two books - and google!
