Ok, under the gun timeframe wise so if anyone can help with I would appreciate it. Yes, this is the first time I have done a pivot table so hopefully this will be a easy question.

I have used the wizard to create the layout.

For the row I put the following two items:

Part Number (Column A)
Part Decription (Column B)

For the Data I out the following items

Count for Part Number (Column A)(to show me how many rows have the same part number)
Sum of Part Quantity (Column C)
Sum of Total $ (Column D)

All the data shows up correctly, however it shows each of the DATA items on a seperate row. I need to change it to show the DATA in Columns.

Meaning it shows my data vertically when I want to show it horizontally.

Hope this makes sense!

Thanks in advance!

Excel Facts

Using Function Arguments with nested formulas
If writing INDEX in Func. Arguments, type MATCH(. Use the mouse to click inside MATCH in the formula bar. Dialog switches to MATCH.
Try google next time bonehead!

"After you add the two fields to the pivot table's data area, drag the Data field button to the right, onto the cell that contains the word 'Total'."
