I need to use the number after the decimal in a formula. How do I get that?

If cell C5 = 1.08345246 or 1654.083452156

I want the result to just be the right of the decimal. And use it in an equation if possible.

Thank You,
Michael

Here is one way, assuming your data is in cell A3:

=A3-INT(A3)

The INT function returns 0.&numbers from the right

if you want only the numbers to the right of the . try this

=MID(A3,FIND(".",A3)+1,LEN(A3)-1)

Try...

=C5-TRUNC(C5)

...which will return digits to the right of the decimal point, regardless of whether the number is positive or negative.

Hope this helps!

Domenic has the best solution, as he included negative numbers!

I'd just use text to columns with the decimal as the delimiter.

Thank You to ALL of you!!!!! Wow!

Actually,
I need the decimal also like:
