need to find a percentage increase

I am hung on a formula!! I need to find the percentage increase betweeb two years. Can anyone help me with the formula for figuring this out?

Thank you very ,much. I thought that was the answer.
Last years totals were $3,576,600 and this years totals were 3,822,650. My instucter keeps coming up with 3.3% which I don't find correct.

as far as I can tell, you're right, the instructor's wrong. If you're paying the instructor for their services, don't :)

Thank you very much. I am taking microcomputer applications in college and this is actually for a take home test and i was baffeled as to why I was coming up different, thank you for confirming the fact my instucter is wrong in his figures:)

The answer's definately something like:

0.068794385729

While this is resolved, the following works as well:

=LastYear/ThisYear-1
