# Need to simplify IF statement

#### JimB

##### Board Regular
Can anyone simplify this formula for me? This is the only way I could get the result I need and my brain is fried

=IF(I19<1501,1,0)*IF(L19=0,1,0)+IF(I20<1501,1,0)*IF(L20=0,1,0)+IF(I21<1501,1,0)*IF(L21=0,1,0)+IF(I22<1501,1,0)*IF(L22=0,1,0)+IF(I23<1501,1,0)*IF(L23=0,1,0)+IF(I24<1501,1,0)*IF(L24=0,1,0)+IF(I25<1501,1,0)*IF(L25=0,1,0)+IF(I26<1501,1,0)*IF(L26=0,1,0)+IF(I27<1501,1,0)*IF(L27=0,1,0)+IF(I28<1501,1,0)*IF(L28=0,1,0)+IF(I29<1501,1,0)*IF(L29=0,1,0)+IF(I30<1501,1,0)*IF(L30=0,1,0)+IF(I31<1501,1,0)*IF(L31=0,1,0)+IF(I32<1501,1,0)*IF(L32=0,1,0)+IF(I33<1501,1,0)*IF(L33=0,1,0)

Thanks all.

### Excel Facts

How can you turn a range sideways?
Copy the range. Select a blank cell. Right-click, Paste Special, then choose Transpose.
Try:

=SUMPRODUCT((I19:I33<1501)*(L9:L33=0))

{=SUM((I19:I33<1501)*(L19:L33=0))}

Note: This is an array formula which must be entered using the Control+Shift+Enter key combination. The outermost braces, { }, are not entered by you -- they're supplied by Excel in recognition of a properly entered array formula. For more on array formulas see the Excel Help topic for "About array formulas and how to enter them".

Thank you! I had a similar formula that I succesfully simplified with "SUMPRODUCT", but for some reason this one had me going in circles.
