Need to Vlook the Smallest Value from a table

the table contains duplicate rows with different values, i need vlook up form the table the smallest value.

Eg : table 1 Row contains Apple and next column production date 07 jul 2020,
2 Row contains Apple and next column production date 10jul 2020,
3 Row contains Orange and next column production date 10 May 2020
3 Row contains Orange and next column production date 11 jan 2020

i need the start date of fruits production (which is the smallest date in the table)

=MIN(IF(A:A=D2,B:B,""))

In function argument result is coming, but in cell showing as #value, highlight the value
