Need #value! to not show in the field

I have a spreadsheet - the extended Price is the formula: Qty*Unit Price

I want this to NOT show as #Value! if there is nothing listed in the Qty or Uniit Price Column

Do you use the IFERROR or is it something else???? HELP!!!!!

You can use IFERROR in Excel 2007 or later, i.e.

=IFERROR(Qty*Unit Price,"")

got it THANKS!!! i was doing it backwards.... the IF before the formula.
