Need VBA code to compress picture

Does anyone have some code to compress a picture, need to compress the file size not the physical size of the picture, like when you select compress picture from the picture tool bar. Tried recording a macro but I only get the select picture part. I have looked around but can't find any code to do it. Is there anyway to do this?
Using excel 2002
