Here is what i'm trying to accomplish in a formula. In the below chart. I want to have excel enter in the Adjustments cell, the $ amount listed under Comm $ column, only if "Bird Dog" or "Charge backs" are entered in the Type cell. Otherwise, I want to leave the Adjustment column blank. Here is the formula i'm using, but it seems to not be working. =SUMIF($F$3:$F$4,"Bird Dog Fee (to bird dog)"=SUMIF($f$3:f$4,"Charge backs"(h$3$h$4).

It seems i'm close, but i'm missing something. Please help!! Thank you.

Other Commission

Customer TBS# Quote # Sales $ Type Comm Rate Comm $ Adjustments

humboltd 12345 21452 $1,140.00 Charge backs 10.0% $20.30

Excel Facts

VLOOKUP to Left?
Use =VLOOKUP(A2,CHOOSE({1,2},$Z$1:$Z$99,$Y$1:$Y$99),2,False) to lookup Y values to left of Z values.

Oh, thank you, i managed to figure it out. I just added another cell and created a formula for each. One for Charge backs and one for bird dog... like this.

=SUMIF($E$4:$E$4,"Charge Backs",$G$4:$G$4)
=SUMIF($E$4:$E$4,"Bird Dog",$G$4:$G$4)

It seemed to work. Thank you anyway. I love this website thread!
