# Nested IF formula

Hi,

I have a formula

=IF(OR(\$AP2="PZ",\$AR2="PZ"),"PZ",+IF(OR(\$AP2="SZ",\$AR2="SZ"),"SZ"))

which does exactly what I want, except when neither of the conditions are true, it returns "False". My question is how can I change things so that the word "None" is displayed instead of "False"?

Phil

### Excel Facts

Square and cube roots
The =SQRT(25) is a square root. For a cube root, use =125^(1/3). For a fourth root, use =625^(1/4).

Hi,

Must have been a long day for me not to have seen such a simple solution! It works a treat.
Many thanks for the super quick response. I'm taking my brain to bed for a rest!

Cheers,

Phil

Excel contains over 450 functions, with more added every year. That’s a huge number, so where should you start? Right here with this bundle.
