Hi ...

I've a nested IF problem.

Cells G9 to G18 each contain a number.

There is a number in cell B5.

In B7 I want to say "Yes" if the number in B5 matches any of the numbers in G9:G18.

Nested IFs won't work because of the 7 max. rule.

Any ideas??

G-fer.

Excel Facts

How to find 2nd largest value in a column?
MAX finds the largest value. =LARGE(A:A,2) will find the second largest. =SMALL(A:A,3) will find the third smallest
In that case how about the MATCH function?

Like:
Code:
=IF(ISNA(MATCH(B5,G9:G18,0)),"No","Yes")
