All,

Thanks in advance, i always find you guys very helpfull.

I have a series of dates between stages of a list of projects, which are referenced from another worsheet. However not all of these dates are filled in for all my stages in all projects listed.

What i want to do is: if there is not a date input for the next stage, create a formulae that recognises this and automatically adds say 10 workdays from the last stage and inputs a date in that cell.

is this possible?

Excel Facts

Create a chart in one keystroke
Select the data and press Alt+F1 to insert a default chart. You can change the default chart to any chart type
Try posting a sample of your data. This doesnt sound too difficult, but it will help to see the layout of your data.

Example:

Project Stage 1 days between Stage 2

Spoon 10/01/08 2 11/1/08
Fork 13/02/08 n/a N/a

Where stage 2 says N/a i want it to auto create a date based on a fixed set io days. However if there are dates already in this column i don't want it to overwrite.
