Sorry, but this is not excel related, but here goes

I am wanting to send network messages to two people on the network at the same time

I currently type in net send [user id] at the command prompt in DOS

is there a way to send the same message to two people at the same time?

Your help would be appreciated

Thank you

Hello,

Yes there is.

Open notebook and on seperate lines type in each message you want sent. e.g.

net send abcde hello user
net send qwert hello user

then save this file as whatever name you want but after the filename type in .bat

This will save the file as a batch file. when you double click the file to open it, it will automatically send the messages. (If you want to edit the names or messages then you'll have to right click the file and choose edit)

I don't know if there's a better way but it's the only one that i know of and use.
