I have a 200 sheet .xlsm worbook with a lot of code. When I add a new ActiveX command button to a sheet, then click on "Properties" for the button, Excel crashes every time. If I open a completely new workbook, the same thing happens but only once. If I then access the Properties for the for the button in the new workbook, the Properties dialog opens. I can then also open the Properties dialog in the original workbook. Strange?

Wildcard in VLOOKUP
Use =VLOOKUP("Apple*" to find apple, Apple, or applesauce
I have not tried that at the time but I will. However, this problem has occurred multiple times in recent weeks and I reboot my computer every day. However, the problem does seem to occur when I am in the middle of a significant building/testing session, so I will test this after a fresh reboot with no or other code changes. Thank you for your rapid reply!

I have the same problem sometimes.
I have had this problem for a year or more.
It does not always happen but I have never sorted out when it does and does not happen.
And why or why not.
I believe it happens more often when the Open Workbook has not been saved and named.
