Hello all ,
I very recently had a post on here where I obtained the result answers from my post .

I just started noticing in the cell bar where you would write a function to use this starting to appear before what ever was in the cell . Its pretty small to see .

' , blink and you will miss it . here's a few of them again in a row ''''''''' , there only ever one but no sure how to rid this . Sorry don't know what it is called other than apostrophe up top .

Thanks .

Excel Facts

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
When cells have leading apostrophes, then it means that Excel is treating the cell’s contents as a text value. If you google, you will find many ways to remove them. Search for "How to remove leading apostrophe from numbers in Excel?"

1. Select the range that you want to remove the leading apostrophe.

2. Click the Home tab.

3. In the “Editing” group, click “Clear.”

4.
Choose “Clear Formats.

If it is happening for old workbooks then check this for me.
  1. Click on File | Options
  2. In the Excel Options Dialog Box, Click on the Advanced tab
  3. Scroll right at the bottom to "Lotus Compatibility"
  4. Ensure Transition navigation keys is unchecked.
