On the server we used a workbook which was shared. I need to make some changes in the workbook and therefor I "unshared" the workbook.

Unfortunately I am not able anymore to copy and rename a single sheet. What is it I am doing wrong?

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
The workbook as a whole never has been protected. The individual sheets are... but were unprotected before copying the individual sheet. The whole proces happens without error message but no copied sheet shows up.

Also related to the shared workbook....

I have a sheet protected and a macro to sort the data on the sheet. The macro starts and finishes with unprotecting and protecting the sheet. Does unprotect not work in an shared environment? I do get an error 1004 referring to the protection of the sheet. In not shared mode it works fine.

The first problem seems to be solved as it was a server problem.

The second problem can not be solved by switching of the macro as the macro is triggered by activating the sheet (sheet code). By rearranging the code I was able to by pass the problem. Thanks.
