New workbook activate

I have a workbook that when opened, opens another. Problem is when the new workbook is opened, Excel seems to think the first workbook is still the active workbook.

The problem I am trying to solve is that when the new workbook opens, I cannot immediately start typing in the cell. I can't type anthing until I select a cell and then reselect the cell I wanted to start typing in from the beginning.

I thought, okay I will just put some code in the open sub to select the cell. That did not work.

Anyone know why this is happening and how I can fix it?
