I wouldn't bother you if this wasn't my last resport (sorry). But I have 830 records with the DATE and "time of call" in the far left column. I want to sort these 830 records into chronological order. But when I do a search, these records are sorted by the first number in the month and not the year. What can I do?

First record:
11/12/06 9:37 AM

Excel Facts

Workdays for a market open Mon, Wed, Friday?
Yes! Use "0101011" for the weekend argument in NETWORKDAYS.INTL or WORKDAY.INTL. The 7 digits start on Monday. 1 means it is a weekend.
I think it should work. How were those entries made? Typed in or downloaded from a database?

Try selecting the column and going to Data|Text to Columns and clicking Finish. Then try re-sorting. Does that work?

Did you try the Data|Text to Columns thing?

Also, are there spaces before and/or after the entries?
