Newbie Help/Book

Hey all, one of my close family friends asked me to put together a database for a foundation's fundraiser that is going to be happening in the next 6 weeks. I am fairly comfortable with word, excel etc but don't know much about Access. I was wondering if anyone had any insight on a book I could look at or where to read about Access to help create this system. Any help would be appreciated.

If you would rather buy a book go to the MrExcel book store and get a copy of Grover Park George On Access.
