newbie question "what if" function two variables (data table)

I am trying to learn how to use the "what if" function with two variables.
Tried to find something in the Forum but in vain.

To do this I have read Excel for dummies and here I ran into a Problem: How does What if" function work...
I followed the books example and when that did not cut it I went to trusted YouTube:

I do everything this guy is doing and at 2:53min when ge get Excel to calculate the Scenarios my spreadsheet only
showes the original value (in Matrix) and it is static.

Any ideas what I have done wrong? Or is it some Settings in Excel?

Well I followed the video and it all works for me.

By the way do you have recalculate set to automatic or manual.

If you are not on automatic and on manual F9 manually recals the sheets

thanks for the help ace. Worked with I changed the calculation to be automatic for data tables as well.
